Gimik: Judy Ann Santos, Rico Yan, Jolina Magdangal, Marvin Agustin, Deither Ocampo, G Toengi, Mylene Dizon, Bojo Molina, Diego Castro & Patrick Garcia.
TGIS & Gimik were both youth oriented and themed shows. Mga 1990s cya pinalabas, I was in college then majoring already.
It’s all about barkada and friendship and all the fancy and complicated things involved in growing up. Teenage hormones personified. Young love, puppy love, youth problems and vices, tambay, awayan, kulitan. Here’s a group of people trying to solve the complex youth problems on their own.
Mas nagustuhan ko nung una yung TGIS and nauna ang TGIS sa pagpapalabas. Aliw ako sa Peachy-Wacks tandem aka Pancake-Cookie love affair. Ayoko kasi nung una kay Juday. Ok sana yung initial casts except Juday. Parang there’s something baduy in it. Juday kasi is fresh from the Mara Clara days that time tas biglang nilagay sa ganun show. Role pa ni Juday e mayaman. Sanay akong mahirap ang role nya kaya nabaduyan ako. Dati yun ha. I so so love Juday now.
I switched to Gimik nung nawala na si Juday (she’s bound to do another teleserye that time ata kaya she was pulled out). Tsaka medyo na OA yan na ko kina Wacks and Peachy. Growing na rin kasi yung casts ng Gimik nun, Marvin and Jolina added and some younger artistas like Kaye Abad.
I love the concept; it made me appreciate my barkada more. We even saw ourselves sa kanila.

it's back, (the 90s) currently; the early-mid 90s are popular via k-pop phenomenon but it's in the philippines :D (mid-rise mom jeans, baggy jeans, cargos, overalls, wide legs, ruffled shirts) 90s grunge is also coming back lol
