Recipe: Domjullian's Bangus Bistek with Caramelized Onions




Ingredients:


Bangus
Lemon
Soy Sauce
Onions
Pepper
Water
Oil

Procedure:

1. I-caramelized yung onion (mga 2 medium pieces).Drain sa paper towel and set aside.
2. Iprito lang yung bangus na hiniwa into pieces hanggang crispy na yung skin. Drain sa paper towel and set aside.
3. Mix ang ½ cup ng soy sauce, 2 tbsps. of lemon, dash os pepper tapos simmer lang at timplahin according sa panlasa nyo. Lagyan ng water kung maalat.
4. I-serve with caramelized onion sa ibabaw.

Recipe: Domjullian's Classic Spaghetti with a Twist



Ingredients:

Pasta
Ground beef
Hotdog/franks
Delmonte Spaghetti Sauce (Advertising!)
Carrots (optional)
Soy Sauce
Bellpepper (optional)
Cheese
Onion
Garlic
Ketchup
Sugar
Black pepper
Salt
All purpose cream/milk


Procedure:

1. Cook ang pasta according to package direction. Instead of oil, I used butter para hindi mag dikit dikit yung pasta.
2. Sa sauce pan, igisa anf onion, garlic and the ground beef.
3. Lagyan ng 1 to 2 tbsp of soysauce at 1 cup ng water. Simmer till maluto yung ground beef.
4. Ilagay yung delmonte spaghetti sauce. I used the big one for 1 kg pasta.
5. Lagyan ng ½ bottle ng ketchup at 1 cup ng grated cheese. Yung cheese na ginamit ko ay mozzarella cheese. Ordinary cheddar cheese will do.
6. Ilagay ang carrots, hotdog and bellpepper. Pwedeng hindi lagyan ng carrots and bellpepper kung ayaw nyo.
7. Timplahin according to desired taste. I did mine sweet since mga pamangkin ko ang kakain.
8. Turn-off the heat at lagyang ng ½ to 1 cup of all purpose cream or milk. Kailangan naka turn off na yung heat otherwise mag cu-curdle yung cream or milk.
9. I-serve with cheese on top and garlic bread.

Recipe: Domjullian's Rellenong Pusit




Ingredients:


Squid
Ground pork
Carrots, minced
Celery, minced
Onion, minced
Black pepper
Garlic powder
Oyster Sauce
Salt
Soy sauce
Vinegar
Ginger
Egg
Cornstarch

Procedure:

1. Lutuin yung squid na parang adobo. Yung malalaking squid ang bilhin, binili ko mga kasing haba ng ruler, nung naluto kasing haba na lang cellphone ko. Soysauce, vinegar, garlic powder, ginger, onion, pepper mixture. Wag masyadong malambot. Tama lang na maluto at mawala ang lansa.
2. I-drain at i-set aside.
3. Igisa ang onion, tas ilagay ang ground pork, palambutin maige.
4. Pag malambot na, ilagay ang carrots at celery.
5. Timplahin using salt, oyster sauce and pepper.
6. Palamigin. Pag malamig na. lagyan ng isang egg at 1 tbsp of cornstarch para mag bind yung ground pork mixture.
7. Palamanan yung squid using the ground pork mixture. Isiksik maige sa loob ng squid.
8. I-seal using a toothpick.
9. Mag-bate ng isang egg sa isang lalagyan, sa isa pa mag lagay ng cornstarch, pepper, salt mixture.
10. Ibabad sa egg yung squid at i-roll sa cornstarch mixture bago i-deep fry.
11. Drain sa paper towel pag luto na at i-serve with banana ketchup or sweet and sour sauce.

Recipe: Domjullian's Tofu and Brocolli with Black Beans




Ingredients:


Tofu
Black beans
Brocolli
Oyster Sauce
Soy Sauce
Onion
Garlic
Black pepper
Sugar
Sesame Oil

Procedure:

1. Hiwain into bite size pieces ang tofu at i-deep fry till golden brown. I-drain sa paper towel.
2. Igisa ang sibuyas at bawang sa pan. Lagyan ng ½ of oyster sauce and 1 tbsp of soy sauce.
3. Timplahan using pepper and sugar.
4. Ilagay yung tofu at isunod si broccoli.
5. Patakan ng konti sesame oil at i-serve.

Recipe: Domjullian's Chicken Sisig ala Pobre




Ingredients:

Ground Chicken
Pork or chicken liver chopped or mashed
Onion, chopped
Garlic Powder
Lemon
Knorr Liquid Seasoning
Soy Sauce
Salt
Pepper
Mayonnaise
Egg

Procedure:

1. Pakuluan sa ½ cup of water yung ground chicken hanggang mag evaporate yung water. Continue cooking hanggang lumabas yung oil para ma prito yung chicken at maging crispy.
2. Lagyan ng 1 to 2 tbsp ng lemon, 1 & ½ tsp of soysauce, 2 tbsp of knorr liquid seasoning, garlic powder, pepper and ¼ of the chopped onion.
3. Iluto hanggang mag evaporate ulit yung liquid.
4. Lagyan ng 1 to 2 tbsp of mayonnaise. I-adjust yung lasa.
5. I-serve sa plate at lagyan ng egg sa ibabaw at onion. Better kung sa sizzling plate kaso wala naman kaming sizzling plate kaya ordinary plate lang.

Recipe: Domjullian's Easy Beef Spareribs Kare-Kare




Kayang kaya nyo tong lutuin!


Ingredients:


Beef Spareribs
Mama Sita’s Kare-kare Mix (Ehem, free advertising!)
Peanut Butter
Achuete
Patis
Pepper powder
Talong
Sitaw
Pechay
Bagoong
Bawang
Sibuyas


Procedure:

1. Pakuluan ang beef spareribs, sibuyas at bawang hanggang fork tender ng yung beef or i-pressure cooker for 20 mins.
2. Timplahin ang kare-kare mix according to package direction. Isang pouch kada ½ kilo ng meat.
3. Pag malambot ng yung beef ilagay yung kare-kare mix, 1 tbsp of achuete liquid at 2 to 2 tbsp ng peanut butter.
4. Timplahan using patis or asin at pepper powder.
5. Ilagay na ang mga gulay.
6. I-serve with bagoong.

Recipe: Domjullian's Sinigang na Hipon




Ingredients:


Shrimp
Sampalok or knorr sinigang mix (free ad yan ha!)
Tomato
Onion
Sitaw
Kangkong
Talong
Labanos
Sili
Patis

Procedure:

1. Magpakulo ng 1 liter ng water with onion and tomato.
2. Pag malambot na, ilagay yung sampalok or knorr tamarind sinigang mix.
3. Timplahin using patis.
4. Ilagay yung shrimp tapos after 3 minutes isunod na yung mga gulay.
5. Serve pipping hot with rice and patis with sili.

Recipe: Domjullian's Pork Liver with Caramelized Onion



Ingredients:


Pork Liver
Lemon
Soy Sauce
Pepper
Sugar
Onion
Oil



Procedure:

1. Marinate lang yung liver sa soy sauce,pepper,konting sugar and lemon. Mag maganda kung overnight.
2. Mag init ng oil at fry lang yung onion hanggang mag caramelized. Onions turn sweet pag naluluto dahil may sugar content ang onion. I-drain sa paper towel and set aside.
3. Fry the pork liver. Wag masyadong i-fry kasi baka maging bitter yung lasa.
4. Discard the oil tapos i-simmer yung marinade until thick.
5. Set up na yung plate. Ilagay yung liver tapos yung caramelized onion tas ilagay yung sauce sa ibabaw. Serve with rice.

Rants 001

Please allow me to rant...

Hindi ko pa rin maintindihan ang ugali ng mga pinoy na kung kelan last day ng registration sa election e dun duma dagsa ang mga tao. May sapat na panahon na ibinigay ng COMELEC for registration pero walang nagparehistro ng maaga, ang ending syempre kagulo at galit pa sila.

Wag kayong magalit dahil kasalanan nyo kung bakit nangyari yan. Mahilig kayo sa manana habit.

Natawa pa ako dun sa isang lalaking nagsalita sa TV Patrol, paano daw sila magiging simula ng pagbabago kung hindi sila rehistrado...paano ka magiging simula ng pag babago e hindi mo nga mabago yung manana habit mo, gago!

Now we know kung bakit hindi umaasenso ang Pilipinas. Sickening.


PS: Pananaw ko to, wala akong paki kung magagalit kayo dahil mas galit ako sa inyo.mga P&(%*_8*)^$#! nyo!

Recipe: Domjullian's Chicken Pochero





Ingredients:

Chicken
Kamote
Baguio Beans
Cabbage
Saging na Saba
Pork and Beans
Tomato Paste
Onion
Garlic
Tomato
Sugar
Patis
Pepper


Procedure:

1. I-gisa ng garlic, onion and tomato then add the chicken. Stir-fry lang for 10 minutes.
2. Lagyan ng 1 cup ng water at i-simmer yung chicken para lumambot or until mag evaporate yung water.
3. Ilagay yung pork and beans and1 to 2 tbsp of tomato paste. Simmer for 3 minutes.
4. Timplahan using patis, sugar and pepper.
5. Isunod yung kamote, pag malambot na, ilagay na yung saging, baguio beans and cabbage at i-serve.
