Recipe: Domjullian's Stir Fry Vegetables



Ingredients:

Chicken pieces
Water chestnut
Sugar snaps
Carrots
Young corn
Baguio beans
Oyster Sauce
Hoisin Sauce
Corn starch
Onion
Garlic Powder
Pepper
Oil
Water


Procedure:

1. Sa isang bowl, maglagay ng 3/4 cup of water, 2 tbsp of hoisin sauce, 1 tbsp of oyster sauce and 1 tbsp of cornstarch. Mix hanggang mag combine lahat ng ingredients then set aside.
2. Sa isang mainit ng wok, maglagay ng konting oil tapos i-stir fry yung chicken pieces till mag brown.
3. Lagyan ng garlic powder then ¾ to 1 cup of water. Pakuluiin hanggang mag evaporate yung water or lumambot yung chicken.
4. Pag almost wala ng yung water ilagay na ang water chestnuts. Stir fry ulit for 5 minutes.
5. Then add the young corn, carrots, baguio beans and the sugar snaps. Stir fry for another 2 minutes.
6. Ilagay ang hoisin and oyster sauce mixture at pakuluin hanggang mag thicken yung sauce.
7. Dapat medyo half cook lang ang veggies kaya wag hayaang maluto ng husto ang veggies.

for me the real test of a good stir-fry is eating it and having it still taste good after several hours which is why I love to eat anything stir-fry fresh. love the oyster sauce!
