Recipe: Lomi ala Dom



Ingredients:

Dry flat egg noodles about ½ cm thick
Pork cut into cubes
Chicken liver, boiled then cut into cubes
¼ cup light soy sauce
Carrots cut into strips or sticks
Cabbage shredded
¼ cup shrimp, peeled and devained
Garlic, minced
Onion, minced
Cornstarch dissolved in cold water
2 eggs, beaten
Pork broth around 3 cups
Salt
Pepper
Oil

Procedure:

1.      Pakuluan lang yung pork  hanggang malambot na, mag reserve ng 3 to 4 cups of broth.
2.    Mag-gisa ng onion and garlic for around 2 minutes sa oil, ilagay ang pork and liver at igisa for another 3 minutes.
3.    Ilagay ang broth at hayaang kumulo. Pagka kulo, ilagay ang noodles at hayaan na maluto.
4.    Ilagay ang soy sauce at timplahin according sa panlasa gamit ang asin at pepper. Ilagay ang shrimps, carrots at cabbage.
5.     Ilagay ang cornstarch para maging malapot yung sabaw at isunod ang beaten eggs.
6.    Hanguin at i-serve after kumulo.

kuya, penge! bigyan kita ng tip, para magawa mo rin yung lomi batangas style.

instead of cornstarch, you can use arina mula sa cassava (hindi ko lang sure kung san dito nakakabili nun, kasi sa amin sa batangas, meron sa mga palengke)

at para mas malinamnam ang sabaw, ang ginagamit na pork broth ay mula sa pisngi ng baboy :)
