Recipe: Chicken with Sweet Soy Sesame Sauce

Ok.Imbento ko lang tong recipe na to. I have the original recipe but I lost it.

Ingredients:

Chicken, about half a kilo (good for 2 persons)
Soy Sauce, about half a cup
Worcestershire sauce, about 2 tablespoon (be careful about this kasi strong ang flavor nya, you may reduce the quantity to 1 tablespoon kung hindi nyo type)
Oyster sauce, about 1 tablespoon
Garlic powder, about 1 teaspoon
Brown sugar, ¼ to ½ a cup (depende sa panlasa nyo)
Sesame seeds
Sesame oil
Cornstarch
for thickening the sauce
Mixed veggies (optional lang, pampacute). I used brocolli, carrots, green peas, corn and baguio beans

Procedure:

Fry chicken until golden brown. While frying the chicken, mix the sauces – Soy sauce, worcestershire, oyster and brown sugar. Basta dapat kalabasan nya medyo matamis, kaya nga sweet soy sesame sauce. Pag iba kinalabasan, itapon nyo na. Mag fried chicken na lang kayo.Hehehe. Set aside the sauce.

Pag luto na yung manok, bring the sauce to boil sa isang sauce pan. Mga 2 to 3 minutes. Tas ilagay yung garlic powder, then the cornstarch mixed with little water to thicken the sauce. Tas after nun ilagay yung sesame seeds and the chicken tas drizzzle with sesame oil.

Serve it with the pampacute mixed veggies kung gusto nyo tsaka rice.

Trivia: Pag pawisin ang kamay mo, wag kang kakain ng brocolli or konting serving lang. Nabasa ko lang somewhere.

Enjoy!
