Pesto with Pan Seared Chicken Breast




Ingredients:

For the Pesto:
Pasta
McCormick Pesto Sauce Mix na recommended ni Zai
1 small can of cream
Water
Olive Oil

For the chicken:
Chicken breast
Salt
Pepper
Butter
Garlic Powder


Procedure:

1.I-marinate ang chicken breast for atleast 30 minutes sa salt, pepper and garlic powder.

2. Lutuin ang pasta according to package direction. Set aside.

3. Sa sauce pan, ilagay ang pesto mix, water, oil and cream. Do check the instructions sa likod ng sachet ng McCormick's pesto sauce mix para sa dami ng water and oil. Optional ang cream, nakita ko lang din sa likod ng sachet na pwede langyan ng cream kaya nilagyan ko.

4. I-simmer sa low fire for 2 minutes at i-add ang pasta. Lutuin ulit for 2 to 3 minutes o hanggang ma absorb na ng pasta yung pesto sauce.

5. Sa isang non-stick pan, i-sear ang chicken hanggang mag brown yung both sides.

6. I-drain sa paper towel at hayaan muna for 2 minutes bago i-slice.

7. I-serve ang pesto with the chicken on top.
